Technical Services
HOCHTIEF Facility Management UK operates its own Technical
Services Division. The Technical Services Division provides all technical and project
support for HOCHTIEF Facility Management in the UK. Our services include maintenance
and mobile response service for:
- Mechanical services such as air conditioning, ventilation, heating, water and sanitary services.
- Electrical services such as power distribution systems at medium and low voltage, lighting
and general services, UPS, PAT testing, emergency generators.
- Building Management and control systems such as access control, fire alarms, leak
detection and fire suppression systems.
Other services include:
- The development and implementation of Maintenance Management Systems, including the
building of the Asset Register, the development of an appropriate Planned Preventive
Maintenance Programme, agreed Reports and supporting Documentation.
- Project Management, Installation and Fit-out work, for all of the above service categories.
Technical Services can manage the entire job where for example a client wishes to modify or
develop a facility and in many instances cannot suffer downtime or a business interruption.

- Handyman services and general fabric repairs and minor construction works.
- Energy assessment and management for site utilities and facilities systems and equipment.
- Dilapidation surveys and reports on premises including costings for repairs and upgrades.
- Inspection and certification of electrical and mechanical services and installations.
Our 24 hour 365 day helpdesk records work requests and schedules planned maintenance as well
as dealing with emergency fault repair and on-call engineer response. All work requests are
recorded and assigned via our computerised maintenance management system. Our system ensures
excellent response times and re-iterates our commitment to a customer-focused service.
